Mid-level/senior interior design professional to perform a variety of production and design tasks in a collaborative design environment, working with colleagues, clients, contractors and vendors on a range of custom residential projects.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Design Development: prepare design concepts, including space planning, presentation boards, finish material selections, FF+ E procurement/installation and 3D modeling
- Technical Documentation: prepare specification spreadsheets and draft detailed construction documents, including interior elevations, RCP and electrical plans
- Project Coordination: coordinate design details with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants
- Client Relations: present design solutions and facilitate client communications
- Construction Administration: respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, attend job site visits + MEP walk-throughs
requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or architecture
(transcript requested, qualified applicants only) - Minimum 5 years of work experience with a design or architecture firm
- Proficient drafting skills in AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Experience with three-dimensional modeling (Sketchup), Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software
- Familiar with California residential building codes
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems + controls, home automation, millwork and casework details, lighting design, and furniture selection + procurement

Compensation will be discussed during the interviewing process and will align with industry standard rates.
